A Universal ConceptThe Universal Room is a center that encourages communication through improvisational music. This experience is referred to as "freedom from conventional language" giving participants the ability to think and communicate in an abstract language and meditate on the spiritual beauty of music and dialogue at the same time. A Little HistoryIn America, this interaction is referred to as jazz music. However, the artist has the most intimate connection, and the audience's experience, although generally moving, is secondary. The Universal Room is designed to break the barrier between the performer and the listener, bringing everyone into the same experience. The response from our past programs has been incredibly positive. In New York, New Jersey, and Chicago, participants entered into the world of the improvisor. The function of this website is to be a full resource for connecting with people, learning to set up a Universal Room, while watching, listening, and learning from others around the country.
